About Kaleseramik R&D Centre Laboratories

Curiosity, openness to development and a solution-oriented approach underpin everything we do. Our laboratories were established in 1974 within Çanakkale Seramik as chemistry, physics and quality control units to support ceramic tile production. Following the establishment of the Kaleseramik R&D Centre in 2012, they became part of the Centre.

Kaleseramik R&D Centre Laboratories provide services at a level and quality that meet the requirements of the TS EN ISO/IEC 17025 standard, in accordance with our declarations of impartiality and confidentiality.

Our Purpose

With our expert laboratory team and accumulated knowledge, we primarily serve Kale Holding companies such as Kaleseramik, Kalefrit, Kalevit and Kalemaden. We also provide testing and analysis services to public institutions, private businesses, universities and individuals across a wide range of fields, from mining and earth sciences to food, pharmaceuticals and water analysis. Our aim is to meet the analysis needs of researchers and entrepreneurs developing new, high-value products and materials that require advanced technology in their production and design. Our Policy

At Kaleseramik R&D Centre Laboratories, our policy is to provide timely, accurate and reliable testing and analysis services for raw materials, materials, wastewater/water and finished ceramic products. We achieve this through sound professional and technical practices, compliance with the requirements of each testing and analysis method, and personnel whose expertise is continuously developed through training.

We are committed to complying with national and international legal regulations, laws and obligations relevant to our scope of services; keeping pace with developments in testing and analysis; updating our knowledge; implementing control methods; and meeting the requirements of the TS EN ISO/IEC 17025 standard.

Our Decision Rule Procedure

TLM.08 — Decision Rule Instruction covers all measurements and analyses within the scope of TS EN ISO/IEC 17025 laboratory accreditation. This instruction explains the decision rule methods and defines the conditions for their application at Kaleseramik R&D Centre Laboratories. It describes how measurement uncertainty is taken into account in our conformity assessments when stating compliance with a predetermined requirement on the basis of chemical and physical measurement and analysis results obtained in accordance with the TS EN ISO/IEC 17025 standard, General Requirements for the Competence of Testing and Calibration Laboratories.
