Santralistanbulproject aims to transform our unique national industry legacy Silahtarağa Power Station into an international platform of culture, arts and education. The KALE GROUP is the main sponsor of the project with its Çanakkale Seramik & Kalebodur and Kalekim brands active in the building sector.

Santralistanbul will be presenting the visitors with diverse functions and units of interest. Among the basics are the following: The Museum of Contemporary Arts which will be attracting the attention of the public with its exhibitions of international scale, the Energy Museum which will be depicting the story of the power station, the most comprehensive public Library and Information Centres to date in Istanbul in the fields of social sciences and arts, and the International Residency Programme which will be hosting artists, architects, designers and scientists from all around the world. Santralistanbul will also be providing research centres for carrying out studies in the fields of civil society, urbanism, culture, youth and design, and it will be featuring recreational areas offering fun and entertainment for the visitors.
