Founded in 1990, Kalemaden (Mines) actually has forty years of experience as it developed out of the raw materials department of Çanakkale Seramik, the company that serves as the backbone for the entire Kale Group.
Kalemaden's range of operations includes geological studies, procurement of mining licenses, research and development, mine operations, storage, homogenifying, micronized grinding, enriching processes, and domestic and international marketing activities. Its annual capacity of 3,500,000 tons makes it the largest producer of ceramic raw materials in both Turkey and in Europe as a whole.
