The Kale Group made a 50%-50% partnership agreement with the Infotron Company serving in the fields of Simulation and Digital Media. The result of this partnership was the establishment of the Kaletron company which serves in the following areas: Software development, Visual and Military Simulation, Automotive and Aerospace Simulator Systems, Architectural Visualisation and Urban Simulation and systems integration designed to meet the needs of the Simulation, Defence industry and the private sector; Digital Media, systems development and integration skills and entertainment and content management, SMS, MMS and J2ME services in interactive TV and mobile communication sectors.
Kalekalıp became subcontractor of the Joint Strike Fighter project which is accepted as the world’s largest defence and aerospace project and foreseen to be the strike aircraft of the next forty years. This important project is led by Lockheed Martin and sub-led by Northrop Grumman and BAe Systems. Kalekalıp signed its first purchasing order agreement as subcontractor.
Out of hundreds of Lockheed Martin suppliers outside of the USA, Kalekalıp became one of the two suppliers to receive the “Golden level” award.
Kale Data, the information technology company of the Kale Group launched its new software product IBpro on Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP).
The leading company of Turkey in the field of Building Chemicals, Kalekim Kimyevi Maddeler Sanayi A.Ş launched a new brand in the paint industry. A new product designed to respond to the requirements of the developing building sector, Kalecolor has been launched as a strong, reliable, innovative and environment-friendly brand presenting a wide range of colour options to choose from. The interior and exterior paint products of Kalecolor have made a powerful entry into the market.
The giants of the building sector, Kalekim, Dow Chemical and Mardav joined forces to launch a new brand in the insulation sector called Blue’Safe MaviKale. Product of this three-way collaboration, Blue’Safe MaviKale aims to present the customers with compatible products consisting of the right materials and the right components. Their objective is to make this possible under optimal economic conditions.

Pratt & Whitney and Kalekalıp Defence & Aerospace Department signed the first purchasing order agreement for the manufacturing of the critical engine parts of the F135 Programme, the Engine Programme of the F36 Joint Strike Fighter Aircraft.
Kalekalıp Defence & Aerospace Department and Northrop Grumman Corporation, one of the leading companies of the American Defence Industry, signed a long-term collaboration agreement within the scope of the “Turkish Air Force Peace Eagle Aerial Warning Programme”.
Becoming the first Turkish subcontractor to manufacture the JSF (Joint Strike Fighter) which has revolutionised the world aerospace industry, Kalekalıp completed the manufacturing of the parts of the first aircraft in a record period of six months and performed its first delivery.
The Directorship of Kalekalıp Defence and Aerospace became the best in class “golden level” supplier for the Missiles & Fire Controls of Lockheed Martin, one of the leading companies of the world in the field of defence industry.
The foundations of the Kaleseramik and Kalekim Central Anatolia Yerköy Facilities were laid down in Yozgat. Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and many ministers, deputies, the governor and the mayor attended the groundbreaking ceremonies.

Kale Data started to serve in Turkey in the fast growing field of e-learning. The PDI (Professional Development Institutes) project is the first educational project of its kind in the sense that it brings together the business professionals and the academicians.
